The Wren

His little wrenship sings each day
     From early dawn till past the noon;
His nesting mate, not far away,
     Admires his earnest, bubbling tune.

Proud husband, father is the wren,
     Who guards his home with courage strong;
He holds a lesson up to men,
     And cheers his neighbors with his song.
