Vote “No”!

                         I.

Vote “NO” for the city now shining and pure,

Vote “NO” for the maidens ye love;

Vote “NO” for the children who smile in your face,     

     Vote “NO” for the Honor above.

                         I.

For what are ye living ye husbands of wives,

     For good or for evil, come say?

For what are ye living ye lovers and sons?

     It is one or the other today.

                         I.

There is Honor in lending a hand to the weak,

     It is Glory to rightfully dare;

The cross ye inscribe on the side of the Right,

     Is one less for some woman to bear.

                         I.

Then vote for the angel who watched today,

     Vote “NO” for the maidens ye love;

Vote “NO” for the children who smile in your face,     

     Vote “NO” for the Honor above.
