A
man may wear a smiling face,
And have a kindly word for all;
While
deep within its hiding place,
Grief clouds his hear in one dark pall.
God
bless the soul who thus can smile,
Causing a second one to glow
Upon
a comrade’s face, the while
His heart with grief is bending low.
