We’ll See Her There Again

‘Tis true, the prize is well secured,
     From a marriage point of view –
“What can’t be cured must be endured,”
     Was keenly felt by not a few.

But rays of comfort shine again,
     And saddened faces slightly beam;
For she that was Miss Sheridan,
     Will once more face the footlight’s gleam.

So do not be “Fry”-ghtened, bachelor friends,
     We surely will see her some more;
And sing her praises just the same,
     Which was all we could do before.
