Lives
there a man in our town,
A
humorist of great renown,
Whose
modest name I’ll not put down,
But R. K. M.
A
jolly poet too
is he,
A
joker of a high degree,
Whose
fount flows on unceasingly,
This R. K. M.
When
first I thought of writing fun,
I
bought the comics one by one,
To
see who led in verse and pun,
‘Twas R. K. M.
And
now the years have rolled away,
No
one has downed him in the fray,
For
in the comics still today
It’s R. K. M.
