It’s
quite in order for today
To
fashion one choice Easter lay,
And
so I take my pen in hand
And
try the muses to command.
Alas!
Alack! It seems today
I
cannot coax the Easter lay;
And
so I lay aside the pen –
And
leave it to the Easter hen.
