One
winter’s day a little boy,
Unto his mother said,
“I
say mamma, does old Jack Frost
Make papa’s nose so red?”
“Ah,
no, my dear,”
the mother said,
With just a touch of scorn;
“Jack
Frost is not at all to blame,
It’s old Jack Barleycorn.”
