Big change in the weather,

     Growin’ soft and mild;

Summer skippin’ hither

     Like ez ‘o’ she’s iled.

Air is hanging soft an’ meller,

     Heerd a bluebird sing,

Different feelin’ in a feller

     When it’s spring.

Big change in the weather,

     Winter’s hed his day;

Makes a feller wanter

     Sort o’ frisk an’ play.

Natur’s smile is coy an’ meller,

     Tantarlizin’ thing;
