Why Worry?

Why should I worry o’er the cash

     I borrowed months before,

Since we will worry for us both?

     Why then should I feel sore?

Why should I worry that we might

     Some future time have war?

Let worry those who have to fight,

     That’s what such chaps are for.

Why should we worry round the house

     When things are going wrong?

Why not let worries and the like

     Descend where they belong?

Why should we worry when we’ve been

     Out nights on a “furore”?

Let’s leave that for women folks –

     That’s what our wives are for!
