Stylish maid,

Many charms;

Puppy dog,

     In her arms.

Youth drops in,

     Cool except

Darling pug

     Still is kept.

Lover sighs,

     Looks at her;

Wishes he

     Was a cur.

Ten o’clock

     Time expired;

“Tom, good night,

     Fido’s tired.”
