The Open Season

There should be a veto

     Upon the mosquito,

He’s having a cinch, a regular thrill;

     The open work stocking,

     So positively shocking,

Is a dead easy graft for his fill.

     Another bonanza,

     To fill out a stanza,

Is the peek-a-boo shirt waist supreme;

     Here’s where he surpasses

     The cinch of all classes

He takes the plum pudding, the peaches and cream.
