Little Drops

Little drops of water,

     When the weather’s dry,

Sends a farmer’s “thank you”

     Up into the sky.

Little drops of water

     From the soda fount,

Hits a fellow’s lucre

     Quite a good amount.

Little drops of water

     On her bathing suit

Makes the summer maiden

     Very often scoot.
