The Changing Season

The “Ice Cream” sign is down and out,

     “Hot Soda” takes its place;

Baseball is done, the actor now

     Wears smiles upon his face.

“Keep off the Grass” is taken in,

     Deserted now the shore;

“Roast Chestnut” sounds its gladsome cry.

     And “Hot Dogs” bark once more.
