Don’t
you dare to raise a protest, don’t e’en talk the matter o’er
If
you ever get run over by the diplomatic corps;
They
may speed their automobiles past the limit if they will,
If
you get put out of action, why you simply must keep still.
Don’t
expect a fine, or “damage”, don’t expect regrets galore
If
you ever get run over by the diplomatic corps;
If
they run you down and smash you you must find a way to rise,
And
to save your country trouble you must then apologize,
