placed one dainty hand in mine
And looked into my eyes;
“Kiss
me,” she said, her lips like mine,
And did I show surprise!
Ah,
no; I hugged and kissed her then,
And laughed a glad “ha, ha!!”
While
she returned them all again,
And said “You dear old pa.”
