Poems On Poets

There was once a girl poet from Chestar,
Who was called somewhat of a jestar;
     She wrote a good joke
     On the poor country foke
Who started right in to arrestar.

There was a young poet from China,
Who came to this land on a lina;
     He started to read
     To a Scotchman a scread,
When the Scotchman backed up and said “dina”.
