Well,
well, what next will this man do,
This
aged Scot whom all of you
Have
read about before I ween,
This
harmless bard of Aberdeen.
Let’s
take him as we knew him first,
Before
he sought to quench our thirst
With
his cool drink which is the rage,
A
harmless summer beverage.
We
found him first with coal and wood,
And
numerous bills both bad and good.
And
then we saw he was a bard
Composing
poems by the yard.
Ere
long we learned that he could cope
With
B. T. Babbit making soap.
But
now he’s capped it all for sure,
He’s
grown to “Beer” Western brewer.
“A
harmless little tonic”, his,
But
still it has the usual fizz!
And
tho’ it’s naught but roots and hops
The
combination causes “pops”!
