Cycle Haste

They awoke at morn in the League Hotel,
     And sprang from their bed in hot haste;
They’d a century run to make before noon,
     And had not a moment to waste.
Their clothes became tangled, but quickly they dressed,
     Their bloomers gave neither concern;
They dressed just alike so she cared not a straw,
     Whether they got into hisn or hern.
