The world is growing better, boys, no matter what
they say, the world is growing brighter And it’s growing every day; and if you want
a proof of it, gaze in our happy tears: An old subscriber’s just been in and paid
up his arrears.
This is a land of plenty, boys, no matter what
they say; we’ll shout the cry of freedom and we’re all a-feeling gay; we send a
