The
Man and the Woman their places have changed;
The
Man he is foolish, the Woman deranged.
For
Man can’t be Woman, nor Woman be Man,
But
still they are being as near as they can.
The
Woman dons trousers, the Man he dons skirts;
The
Man puts on corsets, the Woman tries shirts.
But
Man can’t be Woman, nor Woman be Man,
But
still they are being as near as they can.
The
Man walks the chamber, the Woman lies down,
The
Man runs the kitchen, the Woman the town.
But
Man can’t be Woman, nor Woman be Man,
Although
they are being as near as they can.
