He
stood within a shady door
All on a summer’s day;
And
to each one who came along
He did quite blandly say:
“Ah,
there, friend, how do you do;
Is
it hot enough for you?”
Another
picture now we find,
Of regions far below;
The
devil has him o’er the fire
Just where he ought to go.
Asks
him thus – quite often, too:
“Is
it hot enough for you?”
