Idealistic
I
want to be an editor,
And live a life of ease;
I’d
always go to every show
Free-gratis should I please.
I’d
have free tickets round the world,
And hosts at my command;
My
pen would sweep the mighty deep
And
move the mighty land.
Realistic
O,
now I am an editor,
As busy as two bees;
My
brow is wet with honest (?)sweat,
My pants bag at the knees.
My
printers smoke the best cigars,
My devil is a swell;
The
only pass I have, alas!
Goes gratis through to ---l.
