A Scheme That Failed

So big were Willy’s bills for cream,
     He often made wry faces;
And so he bought a tandem wheel
     To dodge the ice cream places.
But clouds are on poor William’s brow,
     His life is full of trouble;
They come upon them now so oft,
     It costs him more than double.
