FROM THE COUNTRY EDITOR
The world is growing better, no matter what they say; the world is growing
better, and it’s growing every day; and if
you want the proof of it gaze on our happy tears: An old subscriber’s just
been in and paid up his arrears!
This is a land of plenty, no matter
what they say; this is the land of freedom and we’re all a-feeling gay. We are
shouting hallelujah to the countless other spheres – An old subscriber’s just
been in and paid up his arrears!
