I’d like to know

     Where winters went?

Ain’t had no snow

     That’s worth a cent.

What use, I say,

     To have a sled

To rust away

     Out in the shed.

What use to git

     New skates so bright

With not a bit

     Of ice in sight?

It’s time some snow

     An’ ice was sent;

I’d like to know

     Where winter’s went?
