Revenge On The Enemy

The cycle leaned against the fence,
     Its owner slept the while;
The horse from out the woodland came
     With dire avenging smile.
He seized his rival by the frame,
     And threw it high, I trow;
And as he galloped off he cried.
 “You’re horse-de-combat now!”
