To Beth Barry - Haskell

O, Betty Barry, sweet and true,
These words reverse, “From me to you”;
What can I say? What can I write,
Except that you’re a world’s delight,
Except you weave a mystic spell
Around the souls that love you well,
And by your manner passing sweet
Bring hearts and roses at your feet.
O, Betty Barry, fair and true,
I’m proud to wish, “From me to you!”

Sept. 23, 1910

          Written in Betty Barry’s book,
          Boston Herald, Sept. 1910.
                   Betty Barry, now Mrs. William
          Haskell Junior.
