A little girl was out of sorts,
And so one day she planned
To leave mamma and go into
The “I-don’t-want-to”
land.
She thought ‘twould be so easy there
To live with naught to do;
She would not have to mind at all
You
see, the whole day through.
And so she went, and for a while
‘Twas bright and happy
there;
But by and by the lights went out,
And chill was in the air.
And horrid noises smote her ears,
And it began to rain;
She fled from “I-don’t want-to” land,
And came back home again.
