what care we for eggs and ham
Or meats of aviation price?
We
have no use for beef or lamb,
With shortcake 30 cents a slice.
Why
worry over prices high,
O’er luxuries, or monthly rents?
Why
try to buy a piece of pie
With shortcake only 30 cents?
