When
lovely woman stoops to cycling,
And finds too late her skirts delay;
What
charm can make her to wear bloomers,
What act will take that dread away?
The
only way her shame to cover,
To hide her blush from every eye,
Is
just to mask, her fair face hiding,
Then ride with sweet composure by.
